Finca Santa Elisa Pachup is situated in Guatemala’s Acatenango region near San Pedro Yepocapa, nestled on the western slopes of the Acatenango and Fuego volcanoes. The estate covers 506 hectares, with 360 hectares dedicated to coffee cultivation, playing a vital role in the local economy. After a period of low productivity, the farm has undergone significant refurbishment and management innovation, increasing its cherry production from 700 to approximately 34,000 quintales.
This coffee lot is processed by Los Volcanes Coffee at Beneficio La Esperanza mill in Antigua. Due to frequent ash fallout from the active Fuego volcano, special care is taken during washing to protect the equipment and maintain quality. Finca Santa Elisa is known for experimenting with various coffee varieties, with this particular lot featuring the Marsellesa - Sarchimor variety.
The coffee is roasted light with an espresso profile, offering a distinctive taste representative of its unique origin in Acatenango, Chimaltenango, Guatemala.
