A clean, expressive Kenyan filter coffee from the Ichamara factory in Nyeri County. Expect bright cherry, hibiscus and raspberry, carried by crisp acidity and a silky finish. Roasted light for clarity and sweetness in filter service.

Ichamara is part of the New Gikaru Farmers Cooperative Society, bringing together smallholder farmers who deliver ripe cherry daily. The factory’s meticulous washed process—careful hand sorting, overnight fermentation, thorough fresh-water washing and density separation—produces tightly prepared lots with excellent consistency.

Wet parchment is separated into four density grades, then dried on raised beds for 1–2 weeks before conditioning for moisture stability. The result is a transparent cup profile and reliable performance on bar.

Grown in Nyeri’s mineral-rich volcanic soils on the slopes of Mt Kenya, this lot features classic Kenyan varieties SL28 and SL34 alongside Ruiru 11, contributing structure, florals and vivid fruit.
