A classic Nyeri AA lot roasted light for espresso, delivering clean, fruit-forward shots with standout clarity.
Produced by the Gathaithi Coffee Growers Cooperative Society, registered in 2000 and now 1,656 members strong, this coffee is grown on the slopes of Mt. Kenya in Nyeri County. The lot comes from the main harvest (September to mid-January) and is predominantly SL28 and SL34, with small contributions from Ruiru 11 and Batian.
Washed processed and graded AA, the cup shows blackberry sweetness, ripe mango and hibiscus florals, with a precise, structured finish. The lively acidity and definition hold up well in espresso.
Roasted for modern service: vibrant as a straight shot and distinctive in short milk drinks, with reliable extraction and a clean, repeatable profile.
